this is a forum for the cars most people actually drive to work. camry, accord, altima, sonata, malibu, elantra, k5, legacy, mazda3 and 6, corolla, civic, sentra. if it is a sedan or a small hatch and somebody commutes in it, it belongs here. i am not going to police the line between midsize and compact, nobody wins that argument.
three boards, and i am strict about what goes where. sedan talk is owning and driving them: commutes, mpg, trim levels, what your car started doing last tuesday. maintenance, recalls and tires wants a part number, an interval or a written quote in the post. buying and auctions is the receipts board: the price, the fees on top of it, and how the thing got to your driveway.
the rules are short. one, put the year, the engine and the mileage in the post. a 2018 accord with the 1.5 turbo and a 2018 accord with the 2.0 are two different cars and the answer changes. two, if you bought it, say what you paid with the tax and the fees in the number. a price with no tax in it helps nobody. three, nobody sells a car in a thread. this forum has no classifieds section, on purpose, and it will not grow one later.
anybody who earns a living off cars, at a store, a shop, an agency or a body shop, put that in your posts. a tech answering questions is the best thing that can happen to a board like this. finding out in month four is the worst.
sign ups are closed while i get ahead of the spam, so write to me and i will open one for you. say what is in your driveway and which state it is parked in. tanya.
