What gets collected

The site sits behind Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs for a short time to deal with abuse: an IP address, a browser string, the pages requested. There are no analytics scripts, no ad networks and no social media pixels on any page of this forum. The typefaces come from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when your browser asks it for the font files.

Accounts

Accounts are by email request. When you write in, what gets kept is the address you wrote from and the username you asked for. Nothing else is required, including your real name. The member list is not sold, rented or handed to anybody.

Posts

Posts are public and other members quote them. To get a post edited or taken down, write from the address you registered with and name the thread and the post number. Quotes of your post sitting inside somebody else's reply stay where they are, because they are part of that member's post.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies of their own. Cloudflare may set its own security cookie.
